Cats and brats

If today’s trip to the vet is any indication, I’m going to be one of those parents who at the teacher-parent conference says, “My little boy? But he’s so well-behaved at home!” when the teacher and all the other kids and all the other parents know full well that my kid is a brat.

Basil did not take well to being examined, but luckily no one got hurt.

The only exam a cat would likely be okay with is a “self exam” because let’s face it… cats are all about themselve. At least all our are.

They do what they want to do and they do it on their time.

You gotta respect that though, I mean, I *hate* going to the doctor. Going to the doctor in a country where you don’t really speak the language is even worse. It’s got to be something like that for the cats.

The cats are entirely healthy, though, so we won’t have to go back till their shots next year.

How many cats do you have?
