Handsatzwerkstatt Fliegenkopf, another tiny press. This one does hardcover letterpress books. The ironic thing is how many of the “minileporellos” are about elephants and other “big game.” My favorites are the treatments of Brecht’s “Der Rabe” and the classic tongue-twister über Ulm. The last time I inquired about these, Ezra Pound’s “Meditatio” cost 15 Euros. Contact the artist/editor, Christa Schwarztrauber.

research. i am trained to do it and hate doing it on the things i am supposed to be doing it on.
Hey I just saw a book — published this year — in the neighborhood bookstore’s front window — “4000 Years of Miniature Books” — or something like that. A hardcover with all edges gilded (or something), published to accompany an exhibition that was held this past spring at the Grolier Club in NYC. It’s a big book!
I still say little books ain’t my favorite thing but thought you’d enjoy hearing about this . . .
Awesome! I should get that.
Ah… there are many pictures up online! here
