The forthcoming June issue of 4SQ is a Bloomsday issue. I’m having so much fun with it. The poems I’ve chosen for it so far weren’t written with Joyce in mind, but for me they interact with Ulysses in invigorating, fascinating, exhilerating ways. My mind is popping like thawing ice. The poems are strong in themselves, but taken with The Text it’s something new altogether. Not to mention the sleeves. My mom is making the sleeves this time. She’s very talented. Ya’ll are going to be blown away. I’m so excited.

June is the first issue of Volume 2, so around mid-May there will be an open subscription period. Prices will be $24/6 mos, $60/yr (subscribing for the year reserves the next 4 Special Editions), $120/yr Institutions. Current subscribers get dibs.

Congratulations on looking forward to 4SQ year 2 and ‘m trying to figure it out. When you write that $60 per year “reserves” four special editions do you mean the annual rate includes the SEs in addition to the 12 regular issues? Sorry here maybe I am being obtuse?

    Yes, that’s what I mean. $60 = 12x issues of 4SQ + 4x SEs.

    $24 = 6 x 4SQ.

$120 institutional rate buys the same thing that $60 will buy for an individual.

individual overruns and SEs will continue to sell for $5.
